ROCKIN' JOKER CLUB CHATTER
November 2009

Our club member, Tillie Tillman had his 90th birthday in October and our party night was a special “Nonagenarian Birthday” celebration. Several dancers shared experiences of their many years of dancing. We certainly had fun planning our Annual HOoodown and hoped that many of you came and enjoyed the dancing.

Unfortunately our VP’s Greg Dorenkamp and Lisa Nordby have moved to Sacramento and we will miss them. Fortunately, we have two new members: Bob & Lisa Steele.

November brings thoughts of gratitude and family and friends and feasting. Our club is participating in two community events. In November we’ll be dancing at the Sunny View Retirement and in December volunteering at the Family Giving Tree project. The club will have its Annual General Membership meeting on November 18th and Election of Officers.

We hope to see many of you at the Salvation Army Toy Dance and Potluck Dinner on November 21st which provides another opportunity for us to share food, fellowship and dancing. The Rockin’ Jokers wish that today and all your tomorrows be blessed with a rich harvest of prosperity, peace and happiness. Happy Thanksgiving!
